Sauce

Mizkan HONTERI Sweet Seasoning

1 1/2 tablespoons

Mizkan Cooking Rice Wine

3/4 tablespoon

Soy Sauce

1 and 1/2 tablespoons

Sugar

1/2 tablespoon

Directions

  • 1.Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and place the Spanish mackerel with the side you want to display facing up. Sear both sides.
  • 2.When the mackerel is about 70% cooked, add the sauce ingredients to the pan. Gently shake the pan back and forth to coat the fish with the sauce, simmering until it is glossy and well-coated, being careful not to let it burn.
