MIM (Mizkan Museum) is an interactive museum where you can learn about Mizkan’s history as a vinegar manufacturer, and about the charm of Japanese food.
In this zone you can learn about the processes and tools used to produce vinegar from the 19th Century to the present day.
Mizkan and the city of Handa have grown together for two centuries. In this section, facing the canal that connects the city to the sea, pictures of Handa’s past are on display.
This section follows the history of the innovations and challenges taken by Mizkan. On board of the replica ship you can experience the journey from Handa to Edo (Tokyo).
